<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document update notification apparatus and an electronic document update notification method that notify a user of updates on electronic documents. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic document update notification apparatus, which notifies a user of updates on electronic documents, includes a post-update document name generation part 170 for generating a post-update document name according to a formatted document name, a document data acquisition part 150 for acquiring post-update document data according to the post-update document name, a differential extraction part 180 for extracting differential data between the post-update document data and pre-update document data acquired at the preceding update notification, and an update creation part 190 for creating an update notification message from the differential data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
