<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly refer to a document file processed into text data from a document management device in which a document file is processed into image data and registered. <P>SOLUTION: This document management system is provided with an OCR processing part 23 for converting the image data file of a document file registered in a file DB21a of an MFP 1 into text data. The text data file, converted by the OCR processing part 23, is preliminarily registered in the file DB 21a. When a reference request by the text data is received from a PC 2 or the portable telephone set 5, an MFP 1 reads and transmits the text data file of the document file whose reference has been requested from the file DB 21a, and transmits the text data file to the terminal equipment which has requested the reference for the document file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
