PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling device for a tractor capable of traveling while changing the speed in accordance with an accelerator operation and traveling at a speed in accordance with the accelerator operation without transmission shock even when subjected to a variation in traveling load in a road traveling. SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 2, the tractor traveling device transmits traveling power from an engine 4 to rear wheels 3 via switchingly-driven type main shifting units 22, 23 and an auxiliary shifting unit 24 switchable to the road traveling in series, and performs switching control of transmission gear ratios of the main shifting units 22, 23 in accordance with an operating position 43 of an accelerator operating means 16. The tractor traveling device includes a control section 41 for controlling an engine rotating speed. The control section 41 switches the transmission gear ratios of the main shifting units 22, 23 to a high-speed side in the case where the engine rotating speed increases when the transmission gear ratio of the auxiliary shifting unit 24 is for the road traveling, and also controls to change the engine rotating speed to a low-speed side so as to suppress a variation of speed of the tractor.
