<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate variations in mounting position of a rubber stopper. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of mounting a rubber stopper 5 in a specified position 1a, in the axial direction of an electric wire 1, by inserting a terminal part of the electric wire 1 into a wire insertion hole 5a of a cylindrical rubber stopper 5, the electric wire 1 is inserted in the wire insertion hole 5a of the rubber stopper 5 up to a position surpassing the specified position 1a; then the electric wire 1 is pulled back against the rubber stopper 5 up to the specified position 1a.
