<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded type optical repeater that facilitates indoors adjustment of a drawing length of an optical cable from a wall face. <P>SOLUTION: The embedded type optical repeater is capable of housing at least a part of an optical cable installed on the non-exposed side of an installation face or a part of the optical fiber drawn from the optical cable. The repeater is equipped with a housing which makes an optical connector freely pulled out to the indoor side of the wall face W while the optical connector is directly or indirectly connected to the optical fiber.
