<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating compressor with an inexpensive muffler device, having effectively damped/reduced pulsation. <P>SOLUTION: The reciprocating compressor having a plurality of cylinder bores is provided with the muffler device. The internal space of the muffler device is partitioned into at least two chambers with a partition wall. In the partition wall, a cylindrical body is provided which communicates the two chambers with each other and whose length is 16-50% of the total length of the internal space. Particularly, the total length of the internal space of the muffler device is in a range of 100-120 mm and the length of the cylindrical body is in a range of 20-50 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
