<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating type compressor inhibiting wear of a piston side surface and capable of miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: The compressor comprises a piston rod (44), which is received in a crank chamber (14) of a housing (4), is formed at an end with a spherical portion (46) forming a connection region (42b) for a piston (66) and slides the piston about a sliding fulcrum (46a) in the spherical portion by the connection region, and a connection member (68) for caulking the spherical portion to connect the piston and the piston rod, wherein the piston includes a skirt portion (66i) for slidable contact with an inner surface of a cylinder bore (40) and the skirt portion is extended from the sliding fulcrum toward a crank chamber side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
