<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for efficiently charging a battery of a terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: In a wireless game controller 20 in this invention, a charge control part 66 feeds power from an external power supply to the battery 80. A communication management part 50 receives a drive request signal of a vibration motor 84, and a motor control part 62 feeds a drive current to the vibration motor 84 according to the drive request signal. When the communication management part 50 does not receive the drive request signal, the charge control part 66 charge-controls the battery 80 in a first mode, and when the communication management part 50 receives the drive request signal, the charge control part charge-controls the battery 80 in a second mode.
