STEERING REACTION FORCE GENERATING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE DRIVE SIMULATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering reaction force generating device for vehicle drive simulating system capable of reproducing, by generating damping force corresponding to a steering operation (steering speed), steering reaction force which is not different from that in driving an actual vehicle even when the steering direction of a steering wheel is reversed (when steering is turned back) or when the steering wheel is close to the neutral position including play. SOLUTION: The steering reaction force generating device for vehicle drive simulating system comprises: a steering angle sensor 7 for detecting the steering angle of the steering wheel; a means 13 for obtaining steering reaction force in accordance with the vehicle moving state simulated by the vehicle drive simulating system and the steering angle of the steering wheel; steering reaction force output means 4, 14 for generating torque corresponding to the steering reaction force and transmitting it to the steering wheel; and a damper 6 for providing the damping force to the change of the steering angle of the steering wheel.
