EVAPORATOR AND REFRIGERATING CYCLE DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator and a refrigerating cycle device using the same free from degradation of heat transferring performance caused by attachment a refrigerating machine oil to a tube inner wall of the evaporator even when the refrigerating machine oil having compatibility with a refrigerant, is used. SOLUTION: A heat transfer tube 11 extends upward from a heat transfer tube inlet side 11a through a return bend 11b and reaches a first row heat transfer tube upper end portion 11c of an first row upper end. The heat transfer tube 11 is provided with an oil separating mechanism 13 inserted between the first row heat transfer tube upper end portion 11c and a second row heat transfer tube upper end portion 11d of a second row upper end, and extends downward from the second row heat transfer tube upper end portion 11d to a heat transfer tube outlet side 11e through the return bend 11b. The oil separating mechanism 13 has a flow channel extending vertically downward from the first row heat transfer tube upper end portion 11c and the second row heat transfer tube upper end portion 11d and bent into the U-shape.
