PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor whose efficiency of selecting target image data is improved, a method for selecting image data, and a program for having a computer perform the method. SOLUTION: The image processor 1 is provided with a memory 20 for storing a plurality of image data, including three-dimensional image data; a display part 6 for displaying images of the plurality of image data; and a control unit (calculation unit) 18 for performing processing to the plurality of image data. In reading the plurality of image data from the memory 20 and having a display part 6 perform list display for selecting the image data to be processed, the control unit 18 has the display part 6 for displaying a plurality of images different in looking directions corresponding to at least one three-dimensional image data. More preferably, the control unit 18 switches the plurality of images in turn and makes the display part 6 display the images so that three-dimensional shapes turn round on their axes.
