PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container capable of inserting a locking tongue piece in a cutout part to its root without degrading the inserting workability of the locking tongue piece. SOLUTION: The packaging container 1 comprises a transparent container body 10 and a rectangular mount 20. The container body 10 has a recessed part 11 for storing a commodity, a flange-shaped expansion part 12 which is outwardly expanded from the peripheral edge of the recessed part 11, a returning part 13 in which right and left sides of the expansion part 12 are returned to a back side, and right and left edges of the mount 20 are inserted in a vertically relatively movable manner, the locking tongue piece 14 provided at the upper edge of the expansion part 12, and the cutout part 16 with right and left sides of the locking tongue piece 14 cut out downward formed in a root of the expansion part 12 with the locking tongue piece 14. The mount 20 is equipped with a locking part 21 with right and left edges of the lower end projected in the transverse width direction and engaged with the lower part of the container body 10, and a cutout part 22 formed on the upper side with the locking tongue piece 14 inserted therein.
