摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving mechanism of a crank press, which makes the structure of the press compact. SOLUTION: The driving mechanism of the crank press converts the rotational motion of a crank shaft 10 to the vertical motion of a slide 30 through a connecting rod 20, and is provided with a lifting cylinder 40 keeping the slide 30 lifted. The driving mechanism comprises an input gear 18 fitted to one end of the crank shaft 10, a casing 50 fixed to a press frame, a flywheel 62 rotated by a motor, a driving shaft 64 rotated by receiving the rotational torque of the flywheel 62, a speed reducer 70 connected to the output end of the driving shaft 64, and a coupling 77 connecting the output part of the speed reducer 70 to the input gear 18.
