PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crescent receptacle mounting device which is suitable for application thereof to a single sliding sash, and can adjust the location of a crescent receptacle while the sashes are fitted in a frame. SOLUTION: A crescent receptacle 1 is mounted on an inside surface forming piece 6a of a sash abutting stile 6, and set up by inserting an engaging piece 1c into a gap between a rear plate 8 fastened into an engaging groove 7, and the inside surface forming piece 6a, in a manner movable in a width direction. The crescent receptacle 1 thus set up has a contact piece 1b arranged thereon so as to be opposed to an outside surface forming piece 6b of the abutting stile 6. Then a mounting piece 8b formed on the rear plate 8 is interposed between the contact piece 1b and the outside surface forming piece 6b to be superposed on each other, and one of a pair of screws 18 inserted into the abutting stile 6 in a manner allowing fastening thereof from the outside via the outside surface forming piece 6b, is screwed into a screw hole 10 formed in the mounting piece 8b to make contact with the contact piece 1b, and the other screw 17 is screwed into a screw hole 14 formed in the contact piece 1b via a through hole 10' formed in the mounting piece 8b.
