PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle snow melting apparatus which is simple in structure, mountable on a light vehicle or the like, low in cost, and good in snow melting efficiency. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle snow melting apparatus is formed of: a main body case 14 with a snow throwing port 26; a snowmelt tank 22 for storing snowmelt therein; a burning chamber 24 with a burner 28; a heat exchanger 32 with a circulation pipe 32C heated by flames of the burner 28; a belt conveyor set on an automobile so as to be storable on the same, for conveying snow thrown into the snow throwing port 26; a generator for feeding power source for driving the belt conveyor etc.; and the automobile for mounting thereon component devices including the heat exchanger, the belt conveyor, and the generator.
