PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition that exhibits excellent deterging performances and resoiling-preventing performances against particularly solid particle stains and has good flexibility and good preservation stability. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition comprises (a) an anionic surfactant, (b) an amine compound represented by general formula (I) and (c) a nonionic surfactant with the content of the component (a) of 5-20 mass%, the content of the component (b) of 0.5-10 mass%, the content of the component (c) of 5-25 mass%, the mass ratio (a)/(b) of the component (a) to the component (b) of 1/1 to 10/1 and the mass ratio [(a)+(b)]/(c) of the total amount of the components (a) and (b) to the component (c) of 2/3 to 3/1. In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>is a 13-21C alkyl or alkenyl group; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each a 1-6C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group; X is NH, CONH, COO or O; and R<SP>4</SP>is a 2-6C alkylene group.
