PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition which solves a problem that a cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) inhibitor is hydrophobic, extremely low in water solubility, and therefore low in bioavailability by conventional oral administration, and achieves high bioavailability. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical composition comprises a solid amorphous dispersion of a cholesteryl ester transfer protein inhibitor and a concentration-enhancing polymer. The concentration-enhancing polymer is preferably a cellulose polymer. The composition lowers the level of plasma lipids and is used for treatment of diseases such as circulatory disorders, lipemia, diabetes, obesity and the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
