PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for displaying ultrasonic image, easily displaying a three-dimensional ultrasonic image of a part to be watched by a user without an expensive three-dimensional probe. SOLUTION: This method for displaying an ultrasonic image includes: a step (a) of forming a number of two-dimensional ultrasonic images based on ultrasonic echo signals sequentially input from a predetermined region of an object body; a step (b) of selecting a predetermined number of consecutive two-dimensional ultrasonic images among a number of two-dimensional ultrasonic images; a step (c) of superposing the selected two-dimensional ultrasonic images to form a three-dimensional ultrasonic image; a step (d) of setting at least one line on the three-dimensional ultrasonic image and selecting one section among the sections obtained by cutting the three-dimensional image along the preset line; and a step (e) of rendering the selected section and displaying the same.
