PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing capable of preventing damage to a ball and a raceway ring in assembling the ball, and capable of easily putting the ball into the bearing even if a space between an outside diameter of the outer peripheral surface of an inner ring and an inside diameter of the inner peripheral surface of an outer ring is extremely narrow. SOLUTION: In the outer ring 1, a first ball filling slot 4 which extends from a first raceway groove to the first end face of one side of an axial direction is formed. Circumferential extension grooves 5 and 6 which extend from the first ball filling slot 4 in a circumferential direction by a prescribed dimension and extend from the first raceway groove to the first end face in the axial direction are formed on circumferential both sides of the first ball fitting slot 4. In the inner ring 2, a second raceway groove and a second ball filling slot 8 which extends from the second raceway groove to the second end face of one side of the axial direction are formed.
