PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air flow control device for actualizing the adequate flow of intake air depending on the operated condition of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The intake air flow control device for the engine 1 comprises a TCV 20 provided in an intake manifold 15 of the engine 1 for opening/closing part of the intake manifold 15 while forming an upper side opening portion 23 to normally open to the intake manifold to control the flow of intake air passing through the intake manifold 15, a first flow amount sensor 21 for detecting the whole flow amount of intake air passing through the intake manifold 15, a second flow amount sensor 22 for detecting the flow amount of intake air passing through the upper side opening portion 23, and an ECU 30 for controlling the TCV 20 in accordance with the ratio of the whole flow amount detected by the first flow amount sensor 21 to the flow amount of intake air passing through the upper side opening portion 23, detected by the second flow amount sensor 22.
