<p>A recognizing system is provided with a feature point detecting means (120), a Hough transforming means (130), and a specific pattern output means (140). In the Hough transforming means (130), a Hough space is designed so that large or small distances between points in a Hough space are equivalent to large or small distances between specific patterns indicative of differences between predetermined specific patterns. The recognizing system detects specific patterns by using the Hough space. This structure is adopted, and more similar specific patterns in an image are expressed in the Hough space as much closer points to achieve an object of the recognizing system.</p> |
