A meat slicer is provided to make the cleaning work around a meat gripping portion easier and to make the slicing work convenient. A meat slicer cuts the front end portion of the meat sent from a meat gripping portion with a blade, and includes a contact plate(20) and a support member(28). The contact plate restricts the position of the front end of the meat sent from the meat gripping portion. The support member supports the contact plate. The support member is disposed to extend in a vertical direction with respect to the contact plate on the side that is opposite side of the blade. A meat support plate(23) supporting the front end of the meat is disposed to extend across the entire area in a traversal direction of an outlet of the meat gripping portion.
