The aim of the invention is to provide a device for switching stator sect ions that are arranged on both sides of the guideway, which device can be in stalled in as independent a manner as possible. For this purpose, the separa tely installed switching stations (1) comprise not more than three switchboa rd sections (2, 3, 4) each and are associated with only one stator sections. The switching sections (1) are therefore more compact and less heavy.
