<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an excellent color image by eliminating moire caused by color shift correction without allowing the reproducibility of an image to depend on an operating environment state. <P>SOLUTION: The color image forming apparatus is equipped with: a coordinate transformation means 41 correcting color shift in pixel unit for each color image; a gradation correction means 44 correcting color shift in pixel units for the image data of an edge part; a halftone processing means 410 performing halftone processing to the image data of a non-edge part; a processing detection means 401 detecting the operating environment of the apparatus and outputting operating environment information based on the result of the detection; an exception processing means 409 performing exception processing based on the operating environment information for the image data which has been corrected by the gradation correction means 44; and an exposure unit 51 performing exposure by radiating a light beam to a photoreceptor drum 14 from a laser 12, based on the image data obtained by the halftone processing means 410 and the exception processing means 409. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
