PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine whether departure of own vehicle from a traveling lane is intended by a driver or not, when the possibility of the departure is determined, and to exactly correct a course for avoiding the departure. SOLUTION: When the possibility of the departure of the own vehicle from the traveling lane is determined, without operating a direction indicator lamp by the driver, a target yaw moment Ms<SB>0</SB>in a departure-avoiding direction is calculated (step S31), then an acceleration sensitive gain ka is calculated in response to a throttle opening A interlocked with an acceleration operation (step S53), and the target yaw moment Ms<SB>0</SB>is corrected in response to the acceleration sensitive gain ka (step S54).
