<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict the number of visitors to a store in every time zone while taking into consideration an influence of precipitation for a prescribed time unit. <P>SOLUTION: This server is provided with a visitor count table for storing precipitation information in the past indicating values of the past precipitation in the every time zone within business hours on each date, and visitor count information in the past indicating values of the past number of the visitors in the every time zone on the each date, acquires predicted precipitation information indicating a prediction value of the precipitation in the every time zone on a prediction date (S201), and calculates a predicted number of the visitors indicating a predicted value of the number of the visitors in the every time zone on the prediction date (S208), based on the predicted precipitation information, the precipitation information in the past, and the visitor count information in the past. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
