PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex machine tool realizing machining with a high degree of accuracy, and to increase productivity in boring of a cylinder block using the complex machine tool. SOLUTION: The complex machine tool 10 is provided with a spindle shaft 24, a housing 28 supporting the spindle shaft 24 inside, shafts 66, 68 housed inside the spindle shaft 24 and freely advanced/retracted in the axial direction, and a work head 12 connected to the front end of the spindle shaft 24. An expansion means expanding a boring cutting tool 42 and honing grinding tools 36, 38 arranged in the work head 12 is provided with a first gear set 16 and a second gear set 18, and is configured to advance/retract the shafts 66, 68.
