PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for testing a molded container which can save its installation space and a method for testing the molded container which can save a space necessary for testing the molded container. SOLUTION: The first testing part 3 is installed in the neighborhood of a place where the molded container C is transferred from an extraction machine 20 in a conveyance part 30. When the molded container C is transferred from the extraction machine 20 to the conveyance part 30, the first testing part 3 photographs the inner surface of the molded container C to check the inner surface.
