PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of testing a radar device capable of simply simulating radar reflected waves that are incident from the entire circumference. SOLUTION: In the radar device, a scanning angle control signal output from a signal processing part 10 is once acquired into a junction box 11. The junction box 11 converts the scanning angle control signal into a fixed value without delay, before the signal is input to a phased array antenna 6. The fixed value corresponds to the angle in which a received beam (antenna pattern) is oriented toward a radio source 12. Thus, such conditions take place that the antenna pattern always orients in the direction of the radio source 12, even if the scanning angle control signal whose value varies from hour to hour is output from the signal processing part 10.
