PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens-measuring device capable of smoothly measuring lenses of different kinds. SOLUTION: In this lens-measuring device for measuring the optical characteristics of a lens 1, when a tray 7 for storing the lens 1 is arranged on a lens measuring position, the kind of the lens 1 stored in the tray 7 is detected based on information attached to the tray 7, and measurement setting of a measuring part 2 is performed, corresponding to the kind of the lens 1. As a result, there is no need for the operator of a device to perform measurement setting, corresponding to the kind of the lens 1 that is to be measured, to thereby enable smooth measuring work.
