PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer, a reagent inventory control method for the automatic analyzer, and a reagent inventory control program for the automatic analyzer, capable of achieving efficient and stable inventory control of a reagent used for analysis. SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer includes an inventory information storage part for storing inventory information of a reagent container storing the reagent used for analysis, and an installation information storage part for storing discrimination information for discriminating the reagent used for analysis and the reagent container storing the reagent, respectively, and installation information including information on an installation position of the reagent container of the automatic analyzer. The automatic analyzer verifies the installation information stored in the installation information storage part with the inventory information stored in the inventory information storage part, determines whether installation of the reagent container on the automatic analyzer is proper corresponding to the verification results, and when determined that installation of the reagent container on the automatic analyzer is proper as a result of determination, performs use prediction of a reagent of the same kind as the reagent stored in the reagent container.
