PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts, facilitate assembling, and easily secure the assembly strength of the parts. SOLUTION: This runner device of a sliding door comprises a roller lateral shaft 31 for pivotally supporting a roller 34 guided by an upper rail 5, a runner vertical shaft 32 generally crossing perpendicular to the roller lateral shaft 31, a runner body 24 for supporting the roller lateral shaft 31 and the runner vertical shaft 32, and a runner connection member 40 fitted to the upper part of the sliding door. The runner body 24 is connected to the runner connection member 40 through the runner vertical shaft 32. The roller lateral shaft 31, the runner vertical shaft 32, and the runner body 24 are formed integrally with each other to form a roller block 30. An extraction prevention member 113 is also installed for rotatably holding, in a locked state, the lower end 32a of the runner vertical shaft 32 formed integrally with the roller block 30 fitted on the runner connection member 40.
