PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a western style toilet bowl device capable of washing the entire part of a bowl part by discharging drain from a rim water passage, reducing adhesion of dirt into the rim water passage, and enhancing the easiness of cleaning of the outer surface of the rim water passage. SOLUTION: In this western style toilet bowl device 10, a rim flow passage 11 is formed at the upper end periphery of a toilet bowl body 22, and drain is discharged into the bowl part 10 through the rim water passage. The rim water passage is so formed in a generally reverse triangular shape in cross section as to be surrounded by a rim upper end 11b formed at the upper end of the outer wall of the toilet bowl body and a rim inner side 11c formed diagonally from the upper side of the rim to the inner wall of the bowl part and its lower side is converged.
