PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siding mounting fitting which is applicable to horizontal sticking of siding boards, and facilitates mounting of the siding boards on an external wall without locational deviation, and to provide a siding board mounting structure. SOLUTION: The siding mounting fitting is formed of: a mounting fitting main body 10 rigidly mounted on a surface of the external wall 4; a siding board engaging portion 11 engageable with engaged portions 2a, 2b of the right and left siding boards 2; and an upper bearing leg 12 and a lower bearing leg 13 bearing the siding boards 2 in a manner separating the same away from the surface of the external wall 4. The lower bearing leg 13 is provided with: an extension portion 14 extending downward from a projection of the lower bearing leg 13 to the vicinity of an upper edge of a sheathing member 3; and an abutting portion 15 projecting outward from a lower edge of the extension portion 14 to abut on a lower end face of the siding board 2.
