PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silica-blended rubber composition for tires which reconciles high elasticity with excellent extruding processability, and excellent in wet skid property and wear resistance. SOLUTION: The silica-blended rubber composition for tires comprises 100 pts.wt. of a rubber constituent (a)+(b) composed of 20-80 wt.% of a vinyl-cis-polybutadiene rubber (a) comprising 1,2-polybutadiene crystal fiber and a rubber component and 80-20 wt.% of styrene-butadiene rubber (b), and 40-100 pts.wt. of a rubber reinforcing agent (c) containing not less than 40% of silica wherein the average minor axis length of mono dispersed fiber crystals of 1,2-polybutadiene crystal fibers contained in the vinyl-cis-polybutadiene rubber (a) is not greater than 0.2μm, the aspect ratio is not greater than 10, the average numbers of mono dispersed fiber crystals are ten or more short fibers, and the melting point is not lower than 170°C.
