PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protection film having low adhesiveness and causing no problems such that glue remains. SOLUTION: The surface protection film is composed of a film substrate and an adhesive layer provided on one face of the film substrate, wherein the adhesive layer contains a 5% or less resin component with an average molecular weight ranging from 2,000 to 300,000, and the adhesive layer is a three-dimensionally-cross-linked substance that contains a 94% or more insoluble resin component and is composed of a (meth)acrylic acid resin component and a cross-linking agent component.
