PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for downsizing a game ball intake device installed in a game machine. SOLUTION: A game ball insertion means having a prescribed length along a standby route is arranged just above the standby route in which a plurality of game balls are arranged in a row and rotating from the upper portion of the standby route to an intake gutter side is arranged. A solenoid making the insertion means perform an insertion action is arranged above an intake gutter having an opening portion extending across a prescribed number of game balls along the long side of the standby route. The insertion means is rotated by converting the linear motion of the solenoid to the rotational motion by a transmission means to convert the linear motion of the solenoid to the rotational motion and transmit to the insertion means so as to insert game balls arranged within the prescribed length to the intake gutter through the opening portion.
