PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for planting Selaginella stock on a planting body having a limitted height, such as a rock, a stone and wood. SOLUTION: The method comprises excavating a hole 2 on a position of a planting body 1 for planting a Selaginella stock 3 which position corresponds to a planting point for the Selaginella stock 3, closely coming into contact with the roots of the Selaginella stock 3 on a position excavated the hole 2 on the planting body 1 surface, driving a wooden rod 4 in the hole 2 through roots of the Selaginella stock 3 and cutting the wooden rod 4 so that the length of the driven rod 4 corresponds to be covered with the roots.
