PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vest easy to wear provided with a pocket opening/closing usable on the front part of abdomen. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the front opening/closing type vest 1 comprising a right front body 2, a left front body 3, a pocket 8 extending across the right and left front bodies at the abdomen, one side end of which is integrally connected to one of the right and left front body and the other end is detachably fixed on the other side front body, wherein the pocket is constituted as upward opening by making a container body 8a on the front body side and an open/close storage part 8b on the front side as freely opening and closing, and a stopper 8d is formed on a side part which is capable of stationing the storage part in an opened state in forward and transverse direction.
