摘要 An earthquake resistant reinforcement method for the existing bridge is provided to heighten earthquake resistance economically by standing the vertical load of an upper structure using all of the existing bearings without replacing the existing bearing of a bridge with an earthquake resistant bearing, standing the horizontal force caused by an earthquake with the frictional force of a bearing and corresponding to displacement at ordinary times and earthquake. An earthquake resistant reinforcement method for the existing bridge comprises the steps of: separating a clasp(20) bolted to a side block(19) of a plate bearing from the side block, and cutting off the side block unified to a main body(13) for removing the directionality of a plate bearing(1) installed to the existing bridge; bolting or welding a movement securing plate to two sides of an upper plate(12) for securing the movement amount of the bearing with the directionality removed; injecting epoxy between the movement securing plate jointed to the upper plate and an upper structure and unifying the movement securing plate and the upper structure for unifying the plate bearing with the movement amount secured and the upper structure of a bridge; and installing a horizontal force damper of a LRB(lead rubber bearing) for securing horizontal force in an earthquake.
