<p>A radio identification IC tag (102) where a specific ID number unique to a connector (101) is written is adhered to the surface of the connector (101), and a radio identification ID tag (104) where a specific ID number unique to an optical fiber cable (107) is written is adhered to the surface of an optical fiber terminal (105). A reader antenna (103) is brought closer to the radio identification IC tag (104) to allow a reader (108) to read the ID number of the optical fiber cable (107), and then, the reader antenna (103) is brought closer to the radio identification IC tag (102) to allow the reader (108) to read the ID number of the connector (101). After that, both the ID numbers are compared with each other to confirm that the ID numbers correspond to each other, and then, the optical fiber terminal (105) is inserted into the connector (101).</p> |
