METHOD AND SERVER FOR PROCESSING TRAFFIC FOR USE IN ON-LINE SERVICE

A traffic processing method of an online service and a server are provided to determine transmission rates of general messages in accordance with service relation degrees by monitoring the service relation degrees between service subscribers, and to selectively transmit general messages to be transmitted to the subscriber terminals according to the determined rates, thereby reducing traffic processing loads of the server. A traffic processing determiner(210) receives a request for setup of a reference value and a maximum value from a game logic(230) to store/set the values, and determines whether to send result messages to be transmitted to N game terminals if transmission of the result messages is requested by the N game terminals from the game logic(230), then transmits the result messages or deletes the messages without sending the messages.
