<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool oil in a circulation circuit without adding an oil tank and a pump by appropriately supplying lubricating oil of an engine to the circulation circuit of a torque converter. <P>SOLUTION: An outboard motor provided with the torque converter T, an output shaft 20 connected to a crankshaft 17 of the engine E via the torque converter T, and an oil tank 22 in a casing 1, is provided with a first oil pump 24 pumping up reserved oil 23 in the oil tank 22, a first supply passage 51 leading delivered oil thereof to a lubrication part of the engine E, a first return passage 59 circulating oil from the lubrication part to the oil tank 22, a second oil pump 41 pumping up reserved oil 23 in the oil tank 22, a second supply passage 52 leading delivered oil thereof to the circulation circuit 28 in the torque converter T, and a second return passage 54 circulating oil from the circulation circuit 28 to the oil tank 22 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
