PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochromic display device capable of preventing the deviation in an amount of deposition of metal in a display electrode. SOLUTION: The electrochromic display device is equipped with back electrode sections 22B and 22F consisting of a first conductive member 28, display electrode sections 21B and 21F consisting of a second conductive member and corresponding to the back electrode sections 22B and 22F, and conductive diluents 24 arranged between the back electrode sections 22B and 22F and the display electrode sections 21B and 21F and dissolved with the metal, and includes display segment sections 20B and 20F depositing or dissolving the metal in the conductive diluents 24 for coloring or decoloring by implanting charges to the conductive diluents 24 between the display electrode sections 21B and 21F and the back electrode sections 22B and 22F. The back electrode sections 22B and 22F and the display electrode sections 21B and 21F corresponding to the back electrode sections 22B and 22F are formed in superposition over the entire part of the back electrode sections 22B and 22F.
