The invention relates to a measuring device for measuring the power of a high frequency signal which comprises a detector (2) for detecting the high frequency signal and for generating an analog detector signal, an analog-to-digital converter (6) for generating a digital signal, and an evaluation device (8, 9) for evaluating said signal. A dither feeding device (11) for feeding a dither signal, and a chopper (10) which periodically chops the analog detector signal with a chop signal, are arranged between the detector (2) and the analog-to-digital converter (6). The dither signal is thus synchronously fed to the chop signal.
