An analysis device (1) includes a check cable (41) having arrangement position information indicating an arrangement position. The check cable (41) is arranged with a fixed arrangement position. The check cable (41) is connected to a secondary station substrate (35P) constituting a plurality of secondary stations (35) connected to respective units and controlling operations of the respective units. Since the position where the secondary station substrate (35P) is arranged is checked by using the arrangement position information in the check cable (41), it is possible to prevent communication failure caused by an erroneous arrangement position of a control substrate even when using a plurality of control substrates which cannot be easily distinguished from one another by visual check.
