A silhouette wall painting tile and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to cut down the time and cost required for construction by constructing a wall painting with artistic effect without a vertical joint. A silhouette wall painting tile(1)has hemispherical projecting parts(2) and plane parts(3) formed alternately from the left end of the top and plane parts formed at the right end, so that two tiles can be placed adjacently without forming a joint. In addition, rugged grooves(5) are formed on the base of the tile to let mortar placed inward and fixed strongly at construction. A manufacturing method of the tile comprises the steps of: making a rough sketch of a tile on the basis of the selected original picture or design; mixing clay, kaolinite, pagodite, limestone, silica and feldspar which are raw materials of high-quality ceramic tiles at the appointed ratio using a de-airing pug mill; injection-molding to form hemispherical projecting parts and plane parts from the left end of the top alternately and plane parts at the right end and cutting into the designed standards, and then arranging the non-plasticized silhouette tiles on a base plate according to the rough sketch; carving on the arranged non-plasticized silhouette tiles on the basis of the rough sketch; drying the carved non-plasticized silhouette tiles in a kiln; trimming the surface of the dried non-plasticized silhouette tiles using sandpaper to remove powdered impurities; putting unicolored glaze on the carved, dried and trimmed non-plasticized silhouette tiles; plasticizing in a kiln at 1100~1300°C for 32 hours; arranging the silhouette tiles on a workbench according to the rough sketch and checking whether the silhouette tiles are damaged; and packing the arranged silhouette tiles after giving specific numbers on each packing paper or the backside of the silhouette tile. |
