A chrome-free resin composition for providing good forming properties and a surface-treated steel sheet using the same are provided to primarily coat a silica-based pretreatment solution and secondarily coat resin solution composition thereon. A chrome-free resin composition for providing good forming properties is formed by a method of selectively coating a silica-based pretreatment solution before coating a resin-based coating composition. The silica pretreatment solution comprises silica-based salt or oxide such as silica, silicate, and so on, 50-90%, and salts or oxides selected from the group consisting of titania, titanate, zirconia, and so on, 10-50%. In addition, at least one additive selected from acryl-based resin, urethane-based resin, silane, and so on, is mixed and used as a ratio of 10 to 50wt%. |
