<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that setting value information of an image forming apparatus cannot be copied between apparatuses of different data formats. <P>SOLUTION: The problem that the setting value information of the image forming apparatus cannot be copied between apparatuses of different data formats is solved by inquiring data structures of a reading source and a writing destination of the setting value information, forming two setting value information tables, selecting only the setting value information of a common item of the two setting value information tables, and writing the information to the other image forming apparatus.
