<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimension control method of an extrusion material of an extruder constituted so as to always precisely obtain the extrusion material having a thickness of a target dimension even in a case that the taking-over speed of the extrusion material is altered between batches or in the same batch, and a dimension control apparatus therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The time before detection from the point of time when the extrusion material R is extruded from the extruder 8 to the point of time when the thickness dimension of the extrusion material R is detected by a dimension sensor 2 is preset as a definite time and a detection position, where the thickness dimension of the extrusion material R is detected by the dimension sensor 2, is calculated by a control device 7 on the basis of the time before detection and the taking-over speed of the extrusion material R while a slide bar 10 is moved by a ball screw 3 by controlling a servomotor 4 to move the dimension sensor 2 provided in parallel to the width derection of the extrusion material R so as to leave an interval to the calculated detection position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
